As young zumba instructors, most of us dream of having alot of classes and even hold it as a mark of status. When i had 10 classes a week, i quickly learned that it was dangerous to my health. After that, i didnt want any more that 4 or 5 zumba classes a week. Cardio training is great for you and great for your heart, but too much of it is unhealthy, and it needs to be supplemented with other kinds of exercise.
I am setting up Xcite Dance studio classes to be the ideal fitness schedule i would want for myself. Zumba for cardio, great for your heart and keep fat down. with some dance and fun - i cant live without dance anymore. RIPPED for toning, strength, and overall health and fitness, when i taught, i would feel AMAZING afterward. If i ever add anything else, it will be yoga... we will see if that ever happens.
